at 108 Years Old!
‘With hard-work, discipline and diligence, Emei martial arts will flourish!’ (Master Tong Yong)
On June the 3rd, 2007, at the Baoguo Temple on Mount Emei, the very Venerable Old Ch’an Monk Tong Yong (who was nearly 108 years old) accepted the entry of seven students of Wang Chaodeng as disciples of the Mount Emei martial arts tradition.
The outstanding Emei Linji (Ch’an Lineage) Qigong and 12 Standing Like a Stake Inheritor – 66 year old Ceng Qingzong (who is also an Emei Baoguo Temple apprentice Master) co-chaired this respectful and dignified ceremony.
